“Stardust Journey”
"Stardust Journey" is my first digital mixed-media collage series.
It's a series of digital mixed-media portrait collages based on the twelve zodiac signs, exploring the multifaceted self and inner healing. Each work is based on a self-portrait, incorporating metaphors of the zodiac's symbolic animals, nature, and man-made objects. Using childhood photographs, public domain images, digital drawings, fabric, and embroidery stitches, the work depicts an individual's psychological journey between conflict, transformation, and acceptance.
Through a combination of color, texture, and symbolic elements, each zodiac sign showcases a unique fluidity of identity and emotional layers, addressing themes of self-exploration, belonging, and alienation. This series attempts to capture this state of 'drifting self' through visual language, guiding the viewer through the complexities of multiple identities and healing processes.

它是一组基于十二星座的数字混合媒介肖像拼贴系列，探索多面自我与内在疗愈。每幅作品以自画像为主体，结合星座象征动物、自然与人造物隐喻，使用童年照片、公共领域图像、数字绘制、布料与刺绣线迹，呈现个体在冲突、转化与接纳之间的心理旅程。
通过色彩、质感与象征元素的结合，每个星座展现独特的身份流动与情绪层次，回应自我探索、归属与疏离的主题。该系列尝试通过视觉语言捕捉“漂流的自我”状态，引导观者体验多重身份与疗愈过程的复杂性。

This piece is part of the 'Stardust Journey' series, exploring the multifaceted self and inner healing of Aquarius. In this collage, the eagle represents Aquarius's freedom and vision, while the satellite and lighthouse symbolize technology and isolation. Three different expressions of the self are collaged together, connected by stitching, symbolizing the complexity and fluidity of identity. The background features sky-blue linen and pink and yellow nebulae, creating a soothing atmosphere that allows the drifting self to find balance between loneliness and belonging.

Concept Statement：
This work is part of the 'Stardust Journey' series, exploring the multiple selves and inner healing of Aries. The flames and sports car serve as a dual metaphor, symbolizing the two poles of energy. They can represent both impulsiveness and emotional outbursts, as well as passion and breakthroughs. Two symmetrical rams connected by stitching suggest the transformation of energy from chaos to integration. The light purple linen and yellow nebula background create a healing atmosphere, allowing the floating self to find balance between impulse and reason. The work includes four variations, presenting the multiple possibilities of the Aries identity.

This work is part of the 'Stardust Journey' series, exploring the multiple selves and inner healing of Leo. The proud, upright lion, seemingly arrogant, actually yearns to be the center of attention. The audience in the mind serves as a double metaphor, representing Leo's innate leadership qualities and ability to attract attention, while simultaneously craving external recognition. Sunlight filtering through the gaps in the lion's head symbolizes its shift from seeking outward to seeking inward. The sunflowers surrounding the lion, like golden halos, accentuate its brilliance and warmth. The pale green linen and pink nebula background create a healing atmosphere, allowing the floating self to find balance between the opinions of others and self-acceptance. The work includes three variations, showcasing the multiple possibilities of the Leo identity.
